Enough.
Ever since he arrived in Atlantis, his whole universe has been defined by that word. Not quite
enough. Just enough. Barely enough.
Never enough.
Frankly, Radek has had enough of enough.
Unfortunately, the universe does not listen to Radek's wishes all that often. He knows before he
steps through the gate at Major Lorne's request that he will not be able to do enough. As he lies
beneath the DHD, he thinks that it is just another permutation of her fickle nature that this time,
not enough equals too many. Too many gate addresses, and he can discover no way to narrow them down.
There's no way to know where Colonel Sheppard's team is now.
He wishes that he could do more, and worries about Rodney and the others, but Radek knows that there
are limits to what can be done. Berating and second-guessing himself will get him nowhere; he learned
that a long time ago.
It's not until he sees the constant lines of worry on Elizabeth's face that he starts thinking of ways
to achieve more than enough.
